I am a keen climber and skier, attaching myself to whatever the season presents. My 3 favourite places are on a winter climb in Scotland, surrounded by wild weather, skiing down a steep slope where the gradient feels just about manageable, and the Gogarth sea-cliffs on Holyhead Island, North Wales.
I am now based in the Alps, staying just outside Chamonix, and am currently working in off-piste skiing and ski-touring. There has been a good season of snow so far, with many days off-piste skiing being spent through in Courmayeur, Verbier and Zinal as well as in the central Mont Blanc Massif region.
