Tim Blakemore
My experience has been gained in a wide and varied arena including Antarctica, Asia, North, Central and South America, Africa as well as extensive climbing throughout Europe and Scandinavia. I love being in the mountains and pursue climbing in all its forms: UK Rock, Scottish Winter, Alpine Mountaineering, Ice Climbing and Off Piste Skiing and Touring.
I enjoy guiding in remote or wild places with people who laugh, or make me laugh.
As well as guiding I act as a Technical Advisor to a number of organisations in the UK who specialise in outdoor education with young people. I also offer training and instruction in National Governing Body Awards: SPA, WGL and ML (Summer).
I split my time between the Alps and Scotland where I live with my teenage son, Michael.
