Andy Nelson
Andy is a Trainee Guide, based in Glencoe in the West Highlands of Scotland.
As an established Mountain Instructor (MIC), I enjoy all aspects of mountaineering and climbing in the UK.
I would be delighted to share some of my knowledge and experience with you, whether your first steps on the rock, getting to grips with a winter climb in a remote Scottish corrie or tackling a steep icefall in Norway, we can make a plan to safely guide you through these adventures!
I am also a BASI ISIA ski teacher, qualified in alpine, telemark and nordic disciplines. I find great reward in developing clients in piste performance, off piste skills (beyond simply surviving through linked recoveries!) and generally improving your energy efficient skiing, particularly with a view to skiing remote mountain tours and taking up the challenge of steeper and more "variable" terrain.
