With my guiding company Mountainvision I am a British mountain guide offering Alpine mountaineering & climbing courses from Saas Grund in the Swiss Valais Alps. Based in Saas since 1995, I provide courses & guiding throughout the Swiss & French Alps. Including ascents of -

  • Classic Swiss 4000'rs
  • Advanced Swiss 4000'rs
  • Bernese Oberland trio (Monch, Jungfrau & Gross Fiescherhorn).
  • The 'Big Three' - Eiger, Matterhorn & Mont Blanc
  • Swiss Via Ferrata & the Zermatt Gorner Gorge

All my courses are based at the Schonblick Hotel in Saas Grund, with B&B accommodation & hut fees included in the price.

I provide crampons & ice-axe, helmet & harness, with no hire charges.

I have Via Ferrata (Petzl Vertigo Scorpio) and snowshoes (MSR & TSL) for hire all year 'round.

  • In the Spring we offer Cuillin Ridge courses, based in Carbost on the Isle of Skye.
  • During the Winter months we offer Winter mountainering & climbing courses in the North of Scotland, based in Shieldaig close to Torridon.
  • We run expeditions to Aconcagua & the Trekking Peaks of the Khumbu.
