Hello and welcome to the BMG website and my profile.
I'm currently a qualified MIC and BMG Trainee.
I've been very fortunate to have been following my passion for mountaineering and adventuring for most of my adult life. From exploring the best rock climbing venues all over the world to alpine climbing off the beaten track, and Ski journies to wild and less travelled corners of the Alps. There is a magic about time spent in the mountains, moments shared with friends current and future, that helps us reconnect with the important things in life. The beauty, the challenge, the exploration and the excitement of life.
My mountaineering has taken me all over the world from extensive travel in Europe to the Himalayas, South America, South Georgia, the USA and Alaska, Greenland, Tasmania, New Zealand. Particular favourites remain... the Sierra Nevada of California with the smell of sun warmed Granite and Pine needles; The soft pink alpine sunset from a remote bivvi ledge; The way the mountains move in relation to each other as you move through them on skis.
Future plans, personal goals include a complete traverse of the Alpine Arc on skis and a traverse of Norway on skis... and of course to keep exploring the classic climbs of North American rock!
