I have been an IFMGA Guide since 1995 and have been mountaineering worldwide for over 30 years. Highlights have been new routes in the Himalaya with clients and being a binman in Chamonix during the 80's !
I am currently on the management team at Plas y Brenin, The National Mountain Centre in North Wales and have had a long term involvement with the delivery and development of all the UK Mountain Training Board's training and assessment schemes as well as being involved in BMG training courses. I have recently been involved in the production of "Off Piste Essentials" a training DVD which will be available in Winter 2009. This reflects my particular interest in offpiste skiing and ski touring.
I am one of the few British Mountain Guides qualified in Canyoning.
