I have been a fully qualified guide since 1994 and climbing since 1975.
I have climbed and guided extensively in Britain and the European Alps as well as further a field to climb and guide in Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, India, Pakistan, North America, and Alaska.
I am based in Leysin Switzerland, which is an excellent place to start your alpine holiday being centrally situated between Chamonix, the Bernese Oberland, Swiss Valais and Gran Paradiso. Leysin also has a very good train connections with Geneva, Zurich and Paris
I specialise in taking small groups and individuals rock climbing, ice climbing, alpine mountaineering, off piste skiing and ski touring on tailor-made holidays.
I am also a director of the International School of Mountaineering (ISM) and work as a guide running courses.
I have been involved with training mountain guides and work on the BMG Training committee as the Training Officer
