BMG at LLAMFF
The BMG were well represented at the Llanberis Mountain Film Festival
This years Llanberis Mountain Film Festival (LLAMFF) was another resounding success. Set this year amongst the very snowy mountains of Snowdonia, this year's LLAMFF was supportedd by BMG sponsors 'Mountain Equipment'.
As always, the BMG members were there in full force - in a variety of roles:
Film makers Brian Hall and John Whittle (Film and Mountain Ltd) were making the most of the superb conditions with the team from Mountain Equipment
Stu MacAleese (Guide, PyB senior instructor and ME sponsored athlete) gave a talk on new routing in the greater ranges
Martin Chester gave a film and slide presentation on Ski Mountaineering all over the world including Skiing in the Himalaya and a 'busmans holiday' (4 BMG members) in British Columbia.
Rocio Siemens (BMG trainee) gave a talk on the Bugaboos ski traverse.
John Cousins was lecturing on remote canoe expeditions.
