Your 'Guide' to Kendal Mountain Festival

Kendal Mountain Festival

It’s November, it’s raining. Time to party and watch films at the Kendal Mountain Festival. British Mountain Guides can party with the best, and are in the thick of it.

This November (18 - 21st) Kendal will once again host one of the most important events in the UK mountain calendar. As always, there will be plenty of BMG action behind the scenes, behind the lectern and on the screens of Kendal Mountain Festival:

Brian Hall will be presenting a unique insight into the Great Climb, filming a first ascent on Britains most overhanging cliff, Strone Ulladale. recently televised to national acclaim. Stu McAleese, Mark Thomas and Twid Turner will talk about their successful new route on Sail Peak in the frozen wastes of Baffin Island

In addition, Andy Perkins is “the face of the Festival” and heads up a team of presenters including Dave Green and Kenton Cool. For the first time in 10 years, Si Abrahams will be absent from Kendal as he’s partying with the penguins in Antarctica. Kenton will be drinking Si’s share of the beer….

See you all in the cinemas, in the bar and on the dance floor. Go on – you know it makes sense.
