The Fred Harper Memorial Trust

The Fred Harper Memorial Trust was established on the 12th October 2000. The Trust has the following aims and objectives:

a) The advancement for the public benefit of education and training in the skills necessary for safe mountain walking and climbing in cliff and mountain environs, and

b) The facilitation (including the provision of financial assistance), extension and improvement of relevant training for practising, trainee or aspiring mountain guides.

There are two purposes to this booklet – firstly, to show what has been achieved in the first 10 years; and secondly, to secure the future of the trust by raising more funds.
