I am a keen climber and skier, attaching myself to whatever the season presents. My 3 favourite places are on a winter climb in Scotland, surrounded by wild weather, skiing down a steep slope where the gradient feels just about manageable, and the Gogarth sea-cliffs on Holyhead Island, North Wales.

After a good many years living and working in the Scottish Highlands I am now more recently based in the Alps, staying just outside Chamonix.
