Dick Peart has been a fully qualified Guide since 1982. He has just retired from Manchester Metropolitan University Cheshire (previously Crewe and Alsager College) where he has been the programme leader for the Outdoor Studies degree. He lives close to the Peak District and spends a great deal of time in and around La Grave (an area in the Ecrins National Park region of the French Alps (renowned for its off-piste skiing and ice-climbing) where he has an apartment.
He is a provider for the Single Pitch Award, and the Climbing Wall Leader Award, as well as being an inspector for Adventure Activities Associates.
