Hi, I have been an IFMGA British Mountain guide for over 20 years, based at home in Cumbria and for the Summer Alpine season in Saas Grund, in the Swiss Valais Alps. From Saas I offer guiding and courses in ascents of the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc, the Eiger and Dom, as well as courses and guiding for individuals exploring the marvellous choice of Swiss 4000 metre peaks surrounding the valley and further afield. I am able to offer an 'Introduction to the Alps' course for individuals or school groups, based in the Saas valley and including overnight hut stays and ascents of straightforward 4000m peaks and glacier walking. Most of my guiding is offered on an 'all inclusive' basis, with Half Board accommodation in a friendly Hotel and all hut fees included. I am also very flexible and can guide for individuals and groups on a bespoke basis. Email or call for details.
